THE BOOKS

I have always loved writing, and have dreamed of writing books since I was a child. Publishing became a reality when I was part of an art group that gathered once a month to be creative, participate in worship and draw closer to God through the arts. Children began coming and I was wondering about ways to keep them engaged. I thought perhaps a children’s story relating to the theme of that month.  However the problem was the next session was in 7 days and I didn't know how to get ahold of a book with the specific theme of being known by God in such a short time. Abruptly the thought was planted, why not write a short story yourself? Is that You, God? It was late at night, and I couldn't imagine being able to write an engaging story that quickly either. God, if that's you, I need characters, and a story by morning. Suddenly the characters popped into my head. hmmmm.... As soon as I got up that morning, I sat down with my coffee and drew out a storyboard. Instantly my characters came to life, their story unfolded and my first book, Woodland Treasure Hunt was written. My heart in every book is to invite children to draw closer to our Saviour, learn of His love for them and engage in conversations with Him.
